Komet's H246 is a flame-shaped tungsten carbide bur with 12 blades. Used for trimming and finishing.
The most popular sizes in FG and HP shanks are:
- H246.009 is the US size 7901
- H246.010 is the US size 7902
- H246.012 is the US size 7903
The H246 can be used for:
- Trimming and finishing composite material, leaving a smooth, pre-polished finish
- In orthodontic debonding procedures to efficiently remove bonding material that keep braces in place
This flame-shaped carbide bur is also available as H246M - MWV (Midwest Version), gold coated shank, 12 blades.
