Medicom® SafeBasics® Self-Sealing Sterilization Pouches are self-sealing sterilization pouches made from high-quality materials to deliver reliable sterilization processing at an affordable price. Dual (internal/external) steam indicators provide reliable confirmation of sterilization.

PROCESS INDICATOR COLOR CHANGE GUIDE

As a reference, we have included this colour change guide to help in the interpretation of the colour change when the pouches are processed in an autoclave or ethylene oxide sterilization chamber. Caution: the chemical indicators are to be used as sterilization process indicators only.

Steam: Indicators turn from blue to black when processed 30 min at 121º C. EO: Indicators turn from pink to brown when processed 40 min at 60º C, 60% RH, and EO concentration of 725 mg/L.
