Indications for Use

The Endo-Eze FIND apex locator is an electronic device used for apex localization and working-length determination during root canal treatment. It is indicated for patients who need to undergo root canal treatment, which requires precise determination of position of the dental file in the canal relative to the root apex. FIND apex locator should be used only in hospital environments, clinics, or dental offices by qualified dental personnel.

  9. Move file toward the foramen. As file progresses, colored dots will appear inside root canal image on the display to indicate file’s progress. Numerical readings will appear on left side of the display.

  10. When foramen is reached, adjust the rubber stop on the file to mark the length.

  11. Determine electronically obtained length with an endodontic ruler. To establish the working length, subtract 0.5–1.0 mm from the electronic length.
