Help Make Children Smile And Get CE Credits At The Same Time!
Clinical Research Dental has been a proud sponsor and active supporter of many charities in Ontario and across Canada for over 20 years (both dental and non-dental related). Now, in addition to these wonderful local initiatives, we're building a school in Nepal in 2009. When Dr. William Robbins heard about our plan, he instantly offered to host a lecture, and the proceeds will be directed towards our school in Nepal.

Room To Read is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children in the developing world with an opportunity to gain the lifelong gift of education and help them break free from the cycle of poverty. Room To Read was started in 1999 by John Wood, a former senior executive with Microsoft Corporation, and since then, has established over 5,000 libraries and 400 schools for children in Asia and Africa. For more information on our project, please visit www.clinicalresearchdental.com There are more than 770 million illiterate adults in the world, two–thirds of whom are women and girls. In addition, there are over 100 million children not currently enrolled in primary school and millions of others not currently in secondary school. The need for Room to Read's educational programs spans the globe.
Abstract
Esthetic dentistry can only be fun if it is predictable. Shortcuts and "bullet-proof" techniques commonly do not result in this required level of predictability. As our patients become more discriminating, it is imperative that the entire dental team has a clear understanding of the factors which lead to an esthetic success. We must first be able to complete a comprehensive dento–facial evaluation. We can then develop a treatment plan based on this evaluation. However, as our understanding of dento–facial diagnosis increases, we realize that we must look at our patients in a broader context, including oral and maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, and periodontics, as well as the ultimate restorative treatment.
