Featuring Dr. Robert Margeas in Toronto, Canada

Topics Covered
Course Summary:
In recent years, the concept of "everyday dentistry" has shifted dramatically with the introduction of new dental materials, techniques, and procedures. Gone are the days of "drill and fill" dentistry. The demand for esthetic procedures from today's patient has created the need for esthetic-minded and well-trained cosmetic dentists. The skills necessary to achieve "more than everyday esthetic results" cannot be learned from attending lectures alone. Hands-on training is crucial to minimizing the learning curve that comes with today's advanced esthetic techniques.
ANTERIOR: Based on the course content of Dr. Robert Margeas and Dr .William "Buddy" Mopper at Cosmedent's Center for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago, IL, Dr .Margeas lecture and hands-on course will demonstrate a system for creating predictable anterior esthetic restorations. A simplified colour layering technique with complementary opaques and tints will be utilized to create imperceptible anterior restorations even in the most difficult of circumstances.
POSTERIOR: Course participants will learn the techniques on how to overcome the ever present challenge of post-operative sensitivity. By learning how to compensate for,and work with posterior composites and complementary systems, the participants will be able to decrease sensitivity, microleakage, and enamel fracture. The problems of overcoming the creation of tight, predictable contacts will be solved using a simple, predictable protocol. After this presentation, the creation of ideal posterior, long lasting, polished anatomy will be easy to obtain.
